Gas Shocks and Supports   Every vertical door and flip top lid is outfitted with heavy duty Gas Shocks mounted to welded steel brackets.   Advantage: Doors and lids are held open firmly allowing easy access to your equipment.

Adjustable Shelving   Fully adjustable, 2” rolled channel, galvanized steel shelving comes standard in all vertical compartments.   Advantage: Maximum flexibility (NO LOST SPACE) for your various tool needs, with extra corrosion and oxidation protection.

Stainless Steel Piano Hinge   Every compartment door is attached by fully-riveted piano hinges, hand cut and aligned for every compartment.   Advantage: Precise fitting and tough construction, riveted every 2 1/2 inches to offer maximum strength and security.

Double Sealed Weather Stripping   Two layers of TrimLok brand Grip-Tek rubber sealant lines the full perimeter of every compartment opening and door.   Advantage: Twice the protection against water for all of the equipment stored in your Douglass bed.

Stainless Steal Paddle Latches   Polished handles and bases featuring heavy-duty slam latches, our paddle latches are designed to offer the maximum amount of resilience against the stresses of professional applications.   Advantage: Easier to operate than T-handle latches, corrosion resistance, with a clean appearance and rugged construction. Heavy-Duty steel slam latches offer extra security from breakage over nylon and aluminum strickers.

Security Double Bitted Locks   Flat-Key style locks with an Automotive, Duplex Nickel-Chrome plating, with dust-shutter and a double-bitted, reversible key.   Advantage: Over 500 hours of salt spray protection, corrosion resistant finish, and an internal O-Ring to prevent water penetration. Over 200 lock combinations are available, to guarantee the utmost security.

Stainless Steel Gas Insert Plates   A polished stainless steel plate accents the fuel-fill outlet on each bed.   Advantage: Protection from points and nicks that can come with fuel-nozzles. As well as a clean appearance and corrosion resistance.

LED Tail Lights   High Visibility taillights with their intense light emitting diodes, with sonically sealed housings and High-Impact Polycarbonate lenses.   Advantage: A lifetime system warranty, moisture/corrosion resistant epoxy sealant, and direct pin-to-circuit solders to assure vibration resistance. LED lighting also draws less current, allowing more power for other vehicle requirements.

Factory Plug-In Wiring Harness   Our standard wiring harness, with single-location grounding and OEM connectors to prevent splicing into chassis wiring.   Advantage: Ultrasonic inner-loom splicing, heat shrunk corrosion resistant sealant and temperature resistance of up to 300 degrees Celsius.

A-60 Galvannealed Steel Body   S eamless design construction using all galvanealed steel.   Advantage: Superior corrosion resistance with the Zinc coating protects corners, edges and bends as well as flat surfaces and takes five times as long to corrode as unprotected steel. A-60 continues to protect, even when scratched.

PPG Paint   All bodies feature high-quality PPG Industries paint applied by a PPG Certified Commercial Technician, using state-of-the-art equipment and trained in the latest application procedures and products.   Advantage: Trusted brand name since 1883 with outstanding durability, appearance and protection.
